2.Akiyama village
Akiyama village is a general term of the 12 villages at upstream area of Nakatsu River, and it is only accessible by small bus.
It is said that here was the sanctuary of descendants of the famous Hei noble family.
The autumn colors at the nearby places are gorgeous.
3.Lake Daigenta
Lake Daigenta rests beneath the foot of Mt. Daigenta (as known as the Eastern Matterhorn).
It is the oldest concrete dam in Japan.
